PhD position in U-Th geochronology, carbonate geochemistry, and Quaternary sea-level change at the University of Florida 

A funded PhD position is available in the Department of Geological Sciences at the University of Florida with Dr. Oana Dumitru. 
The student will contribute to an NSF-funded project, Collaborative Research: Deciphering MIS 5e Sea-Level Changes Using U-Th-Dated Fossil Corals and Cave Deposits from the Yucatán Peninsula. 
Applicants should have interests in U-Th geochronology, carbonate geochemistry, sedimentology, Quaternary geology, paleoclimate, or sea-level change. 
Previous field or laboratory experience is desirable but not required; 
students with strong backgrounds in related areas and enthusiasm for developing isotope-geochemistry expertise are encouraged to apply.

Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Geology - Caltech

The Division of Geological and Planetary Sciences at the California Institute of Technology invites applications for a tenure-track position in Geology, 
with expertise in fields including but not limited to paleoenvironments, weathering, tectonics, or properties and mechanics of earth and planetary materials.
